Where can I get support for panic disorder online, such as message boards?
I suffer from panic disorder which almost cripples me in the mornings. I am anxious about the coming day and I would like to find a website that would give me support and allow me to know I am not alone in what I go through. I would also like to know if anyone else that reads this suffers from something similar.

I’m sorry. I don’t think u should do this online because you r hiding out. I believe the best thing to do is go to a counselor in person. Please find the time to do so.
The NativeRemedies website have two psychologist that you could talk too or e-mail them. they have also a herbal product that could help you of your disorder.
you could also create your chatroom here in yahoo to help others or could have a member with they same disorder to share some ideas. but check the website first. Ask your Doctor too he/ she may suggest any group for you in your place. Goodluck. God Bless.

Hi: I have Panic Disorder. I am treated by a wonderful psychiatrist in Lexington, Ky. He is the head of the National Anxiety Foundation. I have been on Paxil and a small daily dose of a benzodiazepene for years. Have had no problems since. I know how dreadful this disorder is as I twice ended up in the ER thinking I was having a heart attack or stroke. You would benefit by seeing a psychiatrist who specializes in panic disorder. This has in recent years been proven to be a biological (not psychological) disorder. You’re not crazy and you don’t need a talk therapist – it almost never helps the panic. Please type in "National Anxiety Foundation" and the website will give you lots of good information and places to get help. Good Luck
