What is the phobia called for being afraid of a video game enemy?
I play the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and this one enemy always gets me afraid to play this game. The infamous Redead. I absolutely hate those things, and I would love to know the name of the phobia.

There is not an exact term for the fear of video game enemies, but there is a term for fear of the undead. It is known as "Kinemortophobia."
"Kine" is from the Greek word for "motion." (Think about "kinetic")
"Mort" is from the Latin word for "dead," which is "mortuus."
"Phobia" is from the Greek word for "fear."
You’re not the only one that’s afraid of ReDeads. I know a great deal of people that can’t even advance in the game because of that fear. But just think to yourself–they’re only video game characters and can’t really hurt you. At the worst, they can hump Link into oblivion, but that’s about it.
Poor Link though. D:
I suggest playing the Sun’s Song whenever you get near them to make them immobile. Also, once you kill one, the rest of the ReDeads in that area won’t attack you until the dead ReDead’s corpse disappears, which gives you time to escape. Another trick is to walk very, VERY slowly away from them. Don’t run! The ReDeads are blind, so they only respond to sound. If you make Link walk extremely slowly past them, they won’t attack. If you’re not good at coordinating, just wear the Iron Boots and you should be able to walk past them. Just remember not to run, though. :3
If you ever get Zelda: Majora’s Mask, there’s dancing ReDeads in there that can help ease your fear.
Hope I helped!
I doubt there’s even a name for that, though it wouldn’t shock me, either, given how many obscure phobia titles exist. I don’t say that to sound insulting, but I just doubt ‘video game enemy’ phobia is a common phobia at all, to have been labeled yet.
Incase anybody is wondering what the redead look like, think of

but with a large shrill(or if you don’t trust the link, think of the famous ‘Scream’ painting, but the dudes taller, more anorexic and brown and lets out a terrifying scream whenever you cross him).
Don’t know the name of the phobia, but zombies, clowns, and screaming come to mind…
Edit: Kinemortophobia
