What is a good treatment for phobias?
I already see a therapist and I currently do EMDR. I’m not on any meds but feel "stuck" in the treatment of some of my phobias….what can I do?

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a good treatment for phobias. It’s changing the way you think about your phobias and then facing them. Facing them alone with irrational thoughts gets you nowhere. You can make a hierarchy of what scares you, and try the ones that are less scary first. Then when you feel comfortable, you can move on up.
Hi Zurcoos
Have you ever tried tapping? If not you may want to try it. Try the less serious phobia first. If you find it helpful you can try with the more serious ones one at a time.
