What can i do to make migraines go away?

I get migraines multiple times a week, sometimes even everyday. I’ve been diagnosed with them since a was a small child, and every medicine that i’ve tried simply just doesn’t work. When i get these migraines, some are worse than others, but i am very sensitive to light, sound and smells. What can i do to make them go away. I heard that coffee will make them go away, but when i drink coffee it seems to worsen my headache. Does anyone else who gets migraines have any suggestions? Any would be appreciated.

    Caffeine can help but it can also make it worse. Excedrin Migraine works pretty well when I have a mild or moderate migraine and it has caffeine in it. Sometimes too much caffeine or too little can be a trigger. Try to figure out your triggers. They can be certain foods, beverages, your female cycle, too little or too much sleep, not eating enough. When I get a bad one I use the prescription medicine called maxalt. If they are really bad I go to urgent care and get a shot of something like imitrex. You can also take certain medicines to prevent migraines instead of after you get them. You can talk to your doctor about that. I also heard you should make sure you are getting enough calcium and magnesium and possibly take a supplement. I also heard the supplement feverfew can help but I haven’t had much luck with that. I also do yoga when I am starting to get a mild one. This dvd has a section meant to help headaches:

    Coffee does not help migraines becuase it has caffeine in it which makes migraines worse
    I have severe crippling migraines and I have been on so many medicines it ridiculous none help
    I can tell you if your having a migraine the best thing to do is lay down away from the noise and light in a cool dark place with a towel on your face sometimes taking a hot shower helps becuase it relaxes the muscles if you can try to sleep
    And also if you know any triggers which are any activity that cuases you to have migraine you should try to avoid them its different for evryone you have to figure out what your triggers are
    write a journal for a few weeks of your migraine experiences that includes the foods you ate how the migraine feels and the activities done that day and give it to your doctor
    Avoid soda and other caffeinated beverages citrus fruits are said to make migraines worse also
    And if you havnt already ask you dr about a neurologist sometimes you have to shop around though becuase not all neurologists are good you need one who will be dedicated to helping you to find relief
