Hi, i am writing an essay on people with anxiety disorders and I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me?

1. Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?

2. If you get panic attacks, was there any traumatic event that
preceded your first one—such as death or illness of a loved one?

3.. How old were you when you had your first panic attack?

4. Were your parents nurturing? (Lots of hugs, affectionate, full of praise?)

Thanks a lot!

My friend is incredibly sick right now, and her parents won’t take her to the doctor(they think she’s faking it). She constantly has a fever, migraines and her heart has been hurting her lately.

Is there any cancers or disease that could be causing this? Please help.

23 yrs old male. Lately I’ve been experiencing anxiety and or panic. I’ll get symptoms like needing to urinate / defecate, headache, lightheadedness or dizziness, bad thoughts, nausea, sweating or feeling cold. I currently don’t hold a job or go to school. My sleeping pattern is not the best. And I don’t have a significant other right now. Also I’m still living at home with parents and a younger sibling. There’s a lot of stress at home. I don’t have the best relationship with my mother and my father and I get along well for the most part but even that’s not the greatest relationship. My sister worries me naturally as an older brother. I’m aspiring in the creative fashion industry as a freelance artist at the time. I’ve heard these could be things contributing to this. What is some advice or good habits to get into?
Also a general feeling of uneasiness accompanies symptoms. A few of my friends have said the same thing about themself.
One other thing. I find myself on the computer a lot. Because I dedicate time to maintain a website.

Someone close to me has been battling depression for 17 years now. She is doing a good job, has held on to a demanding job for 4 years now. Though her performance at work are highly erratic. Periods of poor apathetic performance interspersed with periods of high performance.

She shows sympotm of chronic depression, withdraws from social life, has low energy, can spend days in bed, is messy etc. She’s on medication too.

I fear that the next phase will be schizoprenia. She’s 32 now and has been suffering from depression since she was 15.
Though I said her performance at work is erratic, i dont think it is suggestive of bipolar. She has been fired once before for apathy at work. Since then she is scared to lose her job. When her poor performance at work gets noticable and she thinks her job is in danger, she bucks up and works harder.

And she cannot unfortunately retire from work. She lives in a country that dosen’t give benefits. And her aged parents cannot take care of her. She has to earn her living. She would very much like to reyire or atlease work part time, but is unable to do so.
