I have spoken with my doctors nurse over the phone and she says that they have to do a sleep study at the local hospital in order to prescribe oxygen tanks, however my migraines aren’t related to a sleep disorder why would this be necessary? I’m just looking for an alternative relief to my migraines since nothing else seems to be working at this time. Has anyone else been down the road to getting oxygen before and how did it happen for you?

Seriously,…..I have a phobia of doctors. And I have several serious symptoms. I know I need to see a doctor. But am scared to death. I keep telling myself that it is all normal to have glands that swell often and large for 12 years and problems with legs (paralisis that occurs occassionally),etc. I know that sounds crazy. But I can’t bring myself to go. Please no insults as this is hard for me to ask. Anyone have any suggestions?
The reason I have phobia is because of several family members died to being wrongly treated by them. I know this doesn’t happen to everyone. But I lost 4 people in my family that were wrongly treated or the treatment caused their death.
No malpractice suits. We felt that it would not be worth reliving the horrible events. And it wouldn’t bring them back. However I wonder if it was the right decision,…due to the fact there are no telling how many others that have been misdiagnosed, etc by theses doctors.
Thank you all for your help. It was really hard for me to do this question. In fear that people wouldn’t understand and would laugh. Thanx again you all are great and have some good suggestions.

Yea, I know the answer is no right now, but I am being optimistic… do you think there will ever be a cure for Panic Disorder? and by cure, I mean, a way for doctors to correct the chemical imbalances in us, other than through meds?

Sometimes I get them but I would also like to know if other people get them too. I know that people do but very few people are ever candid about it. I also get mild anxiety attacks when I’m in a very large crowd of people. Not that I am scared of people but I just feel very closed in around a bunch of people. I would like not hear about taking medication or seeing a doctor. Because what if there were no doctors or medications that you can take for it, Thank you and good advice is helpful.
