anxiety disorder

1

I had it when I was younger and it somehow became managable in my early twenties. I am 38 now and it has come back, I will have treatment this time and was wondering how it is treated and how long it will take to respond to it. I was diagnosed with ptsd about 10 yrs. ago and recently was diagnosed with the agoraphobia also social phobia, panic disorder and anxiety disorder. Is all of this just different aspects of the ptsd? Please help, this is horrible and lonely, if you have experienced this I would like to hear from you. Thanks.

I’ve been suffering from anxiety disorder and depression 2 years now and in those 2 years my social skills have dropped tragically and i have zero confidence when it comes to asking a lady out on a date or anything like that.
Im seeing a therapist a couple of times a week and im improving little by little but still a long way to go

was just wondering if anyone else here who suffers from depression or anxiety disorder could tell me do they have the same problems ?

My sister is 23 and gets horrible migraines about 1-2 per wk. She’s lost 2 jobs already because of it and she’s afraid she’ll get fired again from her current position. Her doctor keeps giving her meds but they don’t cure the problem. She has an anxiety disorder and she started getting migraines after her heart surgery last Feb. Any advice?

I have an anxiety disorder and have anxiety attacks from time to time where I can’t function – I can’t breathe, I curl up in a ball and cry and shake until it is done. He yells at me and tells me to stop and that, of course, makes it worse. He blew up at me today and now I can’t even go talk to him with starting to shake and feel anxious again. How can I get him to understand so he won’t yell at me any more?

I have anxiety disorder which sometimes border on panic attacks. I seem to get them more so when I am reading or studying, especially if I am at the library. I get these rushes of anxiety and sometimes feel that my mind is disconnecting with my body. In any case, why does this seem to happen when I am reading or studying? Anyone have any good tips on how to control anxiety attacks?
