1) Do you carry your wallet in your right hip pocket?
2) Is there a spring in your car seat that presses on your right buttock?
3) Do you hold your right leg stiff when driving?

I think you are doing something that presses on the nerves of your leg in the back, or you may be slowing the blood circulation behind your knee.
Give yourself a good evaluation on how you are driving, WHILE you are driving.

Numbness is caused by a pinched nerve. It could be the manner in which you are sitting in the car or something may be protruding onto the nerve coming from your lower vertebra.

Suggest you ask your Physician to do a C T Scan to see if your spine is out of alignment.
