Hi Michelle,
The first thing you need to do is get your anxiety under control. You may have panic disorder if you are experiencing anxiety/panic attacks. These may feel like heart attacks, but there are some differences.
What are panic attacks? When a person has a panic attack, their heart rate increases, they feel weak, sweaty, fatigued, and dizzy. It is common for sufferers to have a chilled feeling and they may have numb or tingly hands. Sufferers feel as if they have lost control as they experience smothering sensations and chest pain. Most genuinely believe that they are in the middle of a heart attack or a stroke; they have an overwhelming and frightening feeling they are going to die. Mostly they last around ten minutes each episode.
Fortunately, there are many panic attacks treatments available. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) very effective for anxiety attacks and panic disorders. This type of therapy focuses on changing your way of thinking about your problems.
One of the most successful treatments available for anxiety attacks is known as the One Move Technique. This technique teaches you to break your cycle of fear and helps to lessen the worry of another attack occurring, which is crucial to recovery from panic disorder.
Exercise no matter how much you hate it. Your heart needs to get stronger.
does it feel like a squeezing, tight, pressure pain in the MIDDLE of you chest? i have that too, im usually helpless when i get one, i start to panic, which causes anxiety, but i start to think of familiar comforting things, eg, would be my dog shes funny and cute, or you could think of your partner, or someone dear to you, to ge that warm and safe feeling, that usually calms me down = stops me panicking, stops anxiety, calms me down, oh yea and take long slow breathes to relax you,
best thing to do is to prevent it when you feel like your gonna have one, btw these things are just things that i do,
maybe you need to change your diet, try being fitter, or it could just be a mental thing like for me.
If your heart is having so many problems you need to speak with your doctor about it. When you go you can also ask about having some anxiety medicine for your panic attacks. Also some yoga would help your body calm down and give you a good dose of healthy exercise. So I would try that and see how that helps.
If you are using statins, see http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2004/07/21/statin-drugs-part-four.aspx and related articles.

Take at least 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily: (certified free of mercury) it is best if consumed with an antioxidant, such as an orange, or its FRESHLY SQUEEZED juice. If vitamin E is added, it should be certified as being 100% from natural sources, or it may be synthetic: avoid it!
Females may benefit by balancing the DHA, & EPA versions of Omega 3 in fish, or krill oil with ALA flaxseed oil Omega 3, or at least one heaped tablespoonful of ground flaxseed, daily. Vegetarians: Google: "Omega 3; algae; supplies"

Professional is best. – There is a version for use in public places, (you could claim to have a headache, as you employ the acupressure massage/tapping your temples, but you would then be restricted to subvocalising: saying it to yourself in your mind: "Even though I have health anxiety, I deeply and completely accept myself."
There are a number of herbal and homeopathic ingredients which may be of assistance, without the negative side effects of prescription drugs.
A holistic approach that addresses not only the symptoms of anxiety disorders, but the root cause and underlying imbalances, can help provide all-round support and natural health. Natural remedies have been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years to support the healthy functioning of the body, helping to encourage normal and efficient functioning of all the body systems. In more recent times, research has confirmed this traditional wisdom. Natural remedies for anxiety disorders can include herbs such as St John’s Wort. Clinical studies have demonstrated that this herb can be just as effective as prescription drugs, without the side effects. The calming effects of other herbs such as Passiflora incarnata, Scutellaria laterifolia (Scullcap) and Valerian, can help to take the edge off the initial exposure to the feared object or situation and reduce over-all anxiety. These remedies can be taken without the worry of unwanted side-effects and can help to restore the body’s natural balance and serenity.
There are also certain homeopathic remedies which are prescribed for specific Phobias and which can help to reduce the symptoms of anxiety and panic which accompany the phobia. Discuss these options with your doctor or consult a homeopath or naturopath for advice.

I have mini panic attacks like this where my heart would race fast and I didn’t know if I would be dead or alive by morning unable to sleep because of the crazy thoughts in my head. I have always been a confident person even if I had to fake it until it became true, but it did not work in the case of cold sweats at night and fearing that my heart would give in.
This book helped me a lot http://rapbank.com/go/1306/2942/how-to-stop-anxiety-attacks.html
Hope that helps and you will be fine darling
