"Depression is normal to appear" You don’t like a whole lot of people has well as some doctors who don’t understand depression. Depression is caused by a lack of Serotonin just like a diabetic who doesn’t who doesn’t have he ability to produce its’ own insullin. Depresion is being sad empty and alone even if your surrounded by familly members during a special fest.
Been going through this since my divorce. 9 months ago. Depression hit me because I over analyse it.
Was she cheating on me? When did she decide to leave me after 12 years? I fight myself everyday. It’s hard to not think about those things.
Trying to get over something that happened that hurt you is tough.
Just keep working on it. I sought help with counseling and have been put on some medication to help with my mood swings of anger and depression.
It is a chemical imbalance…Also, there will be times when you can not control your feelings of drowning, anxiety, racing thoughts, restlessness, wanting to "explain" your feelings/thoughts etc to your loved one etc. Only time (Usually 2-5 days) for that phase will work. Then you can work on mending your mind by reading informative books on the matter and talking to a support group (family/friends). Try as hard as you can to stay away from drugs (SSRI’s, Benzez etc). Don’t join the church…lol…don’t do anything stupid for the duration of feeling this way…Time will be the healer!!!! It will pass, and you WILL feel better. Don’t support major drug companies and their CEO’s. Go for long walks instead, then go for anohter walk. Talk to yourself every now and again. It works. And before you know it, you will be back to normal and feeling better. The experience will also make you stronger in the future. Remember, read. The more you know, the stronger you will be!
Cheers
